In your Dashboard in Clearhaus, you might have seen some of your transactions marked as “3-D Secure attempt” This means that during a transaction on your online store, have attempted to use 3-D Secure, but it was not possible due the card issuer not supporting 3-D Secure.

This occurs if the issuer is not fully enrolled in the 3-D Secure verification process, or because processing servers were down. Liability shifts to the issuing bank anyway.
